Dare To Be Aware.

Raising awareness,

promoting inclusion,

striving for equity

for disabled, chronically ill

and neurodiverse

genetic counsellors, current students and future students.

Although we shine a spotlight on these issues within the disability space, we recognise that many people will have additional identities which compound their experience of marginalisation within the world, and the genetic counselling profession.

All of your identities are welcome here.

As a profession, we need to learn from your experiences so we can be better colleagues to you, and genetic counsellors to our patients.

Website made on Gadigal lands of the Eora nation (Sydney, Australia). We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land and pay respects to their Elders past and present. We extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people viewing this website today.

Four flags. In order: the Aboriginal flag, the Torres Strait Island flag, the Transgender pride flag, the LGTBQIA+ pride flag.
